Day: June 14th

Still no flower from the Barbara Mitchell lily, but now it has an orange snapdragon friend.

The caraganas no longer flower but have moved to the seeding part of their cycle.

Some daring little geranium blooms! Look what a vivid red they are!

Now the other gernamium is budding! It's comin' up red.

The lilacs have also entered the next part of their cycle. Their flowering stage is so brief, which is a genuine shame.

Another orange-belted bumblebee! The peonies seem to BEE a BEEG hit.

This particular bee is a cameo, found in the background of a different focus. Look at those chunky pollen legs!

Another pansy blossom joins the bunny battle!

This parsley and mint is thriving and just waiting to be added to a meal.

The first round of peonies is fading, but new buds are already starting to appear. The bright yellow stamens that are appearing with the falling leaves is a nice treat.

A perfectly pleasant pink petunia.

The rock garden has finished Phase 1. Phase 2 is coming.

Wave 2 of the portulaca is coming in with a roar!
