Clematis bud! Clematis bud!

The new pansy bud has taken on the vibrant purple of the old, which now passes from this world.

Pansy judging: Pretty.

Peony down! Peony down! Send the flower medics or a glass vase!

Old life, new life.

This peony has an interesting blossom to its petals that was worth documenting.

There's a sort of decayed elegance to a fading peony. Of greater, more luxurious days. Oh also this is the Chosen Peony, who became glorious.

The petunias are getting increasingly abundant from their sparse beginnings.

Portulaca is such a fine little flower, and these close ups show that off well.

More rosebuds! The rosebush is flourishing more this year than any year before!

What is this? Is this the shoe violas coming in for a rejuvenation? Only time can tell. Perhaps earlier was NOT the last known photo.

This particular batch of violas keeps on trucking and looking nice.
